iPhone 4.0 Live/Thoughts

So it is upon us… iPhone OS 4.0 and thus, disappointing. But in hope, I’ll keep updating this post as information trickles in.

iAd

So let me get this straight… AT&T has the worst network it seems; especially if you have an iPhone. And more so iPhone users have to pay more per month just because they have an iPhone, while the AT&T CEO complains about iPhone users use higher bandwidth. So with all this considered, Apple is going to push ads over this network!?

Secondly, really? Really Jobs? You’ve attempted to broadside Flash, yet your big announcement is f*cking banner ads! And his example, yeah, I have seen commercials like that… I’ve BUILT ads like that years ago.

However, the ad is done in HTML… So if your client really likes an ad, grab the source ASAP and re-skin… It will also be great getting ads on a bad network and not having any compression on them either.

Multitasking

What a load of shit. I can multitask on my 3G without any problems… I just had to jailbreak it to do so; but it works quite well. This has nothing to do with hardware of the 3G.
